AST Hi-Acrylic
Product Description:
AST Hi-Acrylic is a self-adhering tape seal made from open-cell polyurethane foam with water-based acrylic modified asphalt emulsion and then compressed. Higher compression levels are required for watertightness in water run off application and lower compression can be used for snow seals at roof ridges for example.
Product Uses:
AST Hi-Acrylic is used to seal out dust, air, wind driven snow, and moisture in metal buildings and roof joints. AST can also be used as a filler in expansion/compression joints that are prone to movement from thermal expansion and contraction and as a gasket in mechanically fastened, non-moving applications such as seams. It is suitable for use on metal, plastic, wood, and concrete as well as other materials used in metal building structures.
